Founded in 2015, the Yale-NUS Society of Academic Research (YNSAR) is dedicated to both nurturing a community of scholars, showcasing excellent undergraduate research, and promoting interest in academic research. To that end, YNSAR publishes the Yale-NUS Undergraduate Journal, a serialised interdisciplinary undergraduate journal, and the Yale-NUS After Hours, a biannual podcast featuring some of the best research conducted by Yale-NUS faculty. We also organise various workshops, speaker sessions, and events centered on academic research and careers.
Since its inception, YNSAR has grown from a core group of seven students to a team of over 30 students and faculty members. We recently launched the 3rd volume of the Yale-NUS Undergraduate Journal, which you can read about here.
